TOUR DE FRANCE CLIMB print features a photograph from a French sports magazine showing the Tour de France peloton struggling up Mont Ventoux during the 1952 race.
At 1,912m many say Ventoux is the hardest of all Tour climbs. Known variously as The Giant of Provence and The Bald Mountain, Ventoux is also renowned for being windy – the wind blows at 90+ km/h for an average of 240 days a year and wind speeds as high as 320km/h have been recorded at the summit (venteux means windy in French).
Prints are professionally printed on 230gsm acid-free, wood-free, pH-neutral, archival matte paper using premium archival pigment inks.
