Seventh City of the Empire vintage travel poster for Victorian Railways circa 1930 by Percy Trompf.
The poster depicts Melbourne's first skyscraper, the Manchester Unity Building on the corner of Swanston and Collins streets. At 12 storeys high and topped with a decorative tower, it was Melbourne's tallest building and contained the city’s first escalators.
Prints are professionally printed on 230gsm acid-free, wood-free, pH-neutral, archival matte paper using premium archival pigment inks.
This design is available in the following formats: • Unframed Print • Framed Print (white, black, natural oak or dark oak timber) • Stretched Canvas • Un-stretched Canvas
Within Australia we offer professionally framed prints ready to hang with a choice of sustainably-sourced timber frames in white, natural oak, dark oak or black.
Our framer uses Shinkolite 3mm cast acrylic rather than glass: it is lightweight, virtually unbreakable, has greater optical clarity than glass and provides your print with long term protection from harmful UV rays.
Please note we do not ship framed prints internationally.
We use archival 350gsm artist quality, matte bright white acid-free canvas for high quality results.
You can choose ready-to-hang stretched canvas or un-stretched canvas which can then be stretched by your framer of choice.
Please note our canvas art is available in the middle and second-largest sizes only.
We offer FREE shipping Australia-wide.
We offer an international shipping rate of AUD$25 (framed prints excluded).
Standard delivery for unframed prints and un-stretched canvas art is usually 7-10 business days within Australia and 15-20 business days internationally.
Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks plus delivery time for framed prints and stretched canvas orders.
